Dear Friends of Rē: The Regenerative School,
Our Fall 2023 RēInvest Campaign is in full swing and we need your help! Do you have an extra $30 to spare this week? Would you consider helping us grow a garden?
Every dollar counts.
My father, G. Scott Laing, was a beloved figure in the New Hampshire and Massachusetts Seacoast communities and was renowned for his bountiful vegetable gardens. I want to plant a garden akin to his; provide our community with free, fresh, and chemical-free produce; and create a meaningful meeting place for future cross-cultural conversations, innovative learning, and community resilience.
In an increasingly interconnected but often isolating world, the importance of community cannot be overstated. Strong communities foster social, emotional, and economic well-being, contribute to a sense of belonging and purpose, and are instrumental in addressing the complex challenges of our time. Our garden is our first offering for a community rēfuge.
We've already made significant strides thanks to the generous support of Johnny's Seeds and the rallying spirit of our local neighbors. We've even submitted a grant application to Mass Cultural Council to support our proposal!
Our board has already kicked off the RēInvest Campaign with 100% donor participation and has raised over $2,000 of the remaining $11,000 needed. We ask you join them and help us root! Every contribution brings us closer to creating a thriving urban landscape where people can find solace, fresh produce, and a strong sense of togetherness and connection.
Please consider donating $30 today.
Thank you for your support!
Best,
Ashlei Laing
