No. 059: RēInvest Campaign

Join us as we seed change, grow our community, and plant a garden!

Dear Friends,

The Regenerative School is gearing up for an exciting Fall 2023 with a fresh annual initiative: the RēInvest Campaign. We would like to extend a heartfelt invitation to you, as our community, to join our Board in donating to realize our “roots” in the Northeast. 

In reflecting on our accomplishments from the past year, we proudly raised $4,000 out of the $15,000 required to organize and found our Amesbury community garden, planted in memory of G. Scott Laing, Ashlei Laing’s late father. In the past, Rē’s gardens and partner farm in Tennessee gave back to the community in bounties with over 500 pounds of fresh food in 2022 alone. Rē strives to expand its reach here with our newfound community and surrounding Northeast region. G. Scott Laing was a cherished figure in both the New Hampshire and Massachusetts Seacoast communities, renowned for his abundant vegetable gardens. At Rē, our aspiration is to create a garden akin to his, providing our community with free, fresh, and chemical-free produce as a way to give back to the community and serve as a meaningful meeting place for future cross-cultural conversations and innovative learning.

While transitioning to New England, in the absence of a local eco-campus to host our organization, programs, and cooperative efforts, Rē has diligently fostered collaborations with like-minded local organizations to uplift empowering causes and spaces. For example, Rē hosted a sold-out local retreat this May at Alnoba with Within Wellness and Nourishing Wellness. We will return to Alnoba’s sustainably-constructed meeting space, to host an October retreat into nature and balance with Sequoia Samanvaya, Nourishing Wellness and Collective Wisdoms. 

As we approach the final stretch of this year, we are invigorated by the prospect of nurturing the seeds of change, growing our local community, and planting our dreams for a community garden. We believe that with your support we can achieve remarkable growth and success, and inspire others to participate! Our board has kicked off our RēInvest campaign with 100% donor participation and raised over $2,000 already. Will you join them?

There are two ways to donate. A one-time tax-deductible donation for 2023 or a recurring monthly donation, tax-deductible in 2024.
